House rules Polenforum.nl
General:
- The forum is for everyone. However, if you would like to post messages, then you must register.
- Registration implies that you will observe the rules set out below. Failure to do so will be punished.
- If you do not wish to follow these rules, one should consider leaving the forum immediately.
- Polenforum.nl cannot be held liable for any form of injury and/or damage of any type, including damage from viruses, resulting from using this forum via internet.
- Offering illegal software on this forum through posts and/or personal messages (PM) is strictly forbidden.
Registration:
- In order to register, one needs a valid email address. All email addresses are verified and removed when found to be not valid.
- Should you have problems with registering, please contact the Admin click here.
After registration you will receive an activation email and after that an email with your login password.
Registration is free of charge and falls under your own responsibility. It does not oblige Polenforum.nl in any way.
By registering you will be included in the largest independent forum about Poland.
Double registration by using multiple email addresses is not allowed and they will be removed without warning.
Social forms:
- On this forum the social forms are in force as layed out in Dutch law.
- By respecting others, others will respect you.
- Using crude language will not be tolerated and the relevant posts will be deleted or modified.
- Crude words are already filtered automatically.
- Using too many smilies in posts is not permitted, we keep the forum neat and orderly.
- Members may choose their own avatars, but because the only way for them to remain visible is to put them on the polenforum.nl server, we request you to send the avatar in 80 pixels wide by 88 pixels high to the Admin so that he can put them on the server for you.
This goes especially for coats of arms, these may have white or black edges which is not a pretty sight.
- Judging people because of religion, race, culture, gender, sexuality or skin colour is forbidden. Incidents of discrimination are reported..
- People's privacy is left alone and to at agonize people directly leads to permanent removal of the abusive party.
- Links to porn related materials are not allowed and will be removed, after which the poster of such will receive a ban for life.
- Links to charities are permitted, as well as links to charities which have their own website.
- It is not permitted to advertise commercially using signatures, either by placing links or pictures, without explicit written authorization by the Admin.
Punishment:
- Not observing the regulations will lead to a warning at first, upon repetition a one month ban follows. If the abusive member reverts to this behaviour again later on, a lifelong ban is issued.
Articles and copyright:
- Placed articles from newspapers or other sources should be amended by the posting member to show source and date. Polenforum.nl does not accept any kind of claim when members forego to do this. Such messages may be removed by the Admin or a Moderator without prior warning.
- Negative or sensationalist articles about Poles in the Netherlands are permitted, with exception of articles about drunk Poles and articles about Poles which drive while under influence. This type of articles do not add value to this forum.
- Also articles which contain just once the word "Pool", "Polen", "Poolse", or "Pools", but which does not have a Poland related issue as its main theme, are not desirable. Articles should discuss Poles in the Netherlands and their involvement, and Polen and its citizens of course. Articles posted which fall under the embargo will be deleted by the Moderator team without prior warning.
- Not observing the regulations will result in punishment as outlined in the article above. .
- Ownership of all articles, posts, messages and submitted materials automatically reverts to polenforum.nl, unless otherwise explicitly agreed.
- Photo's and pictures may not be larger than 640 by 480 pixels and may not exceed 75KB without prior permission by the Admin.Here also copyright rules apply, if the pictures/photo's do not belong to you, you must state source and date of origin.
- No data of polenforum.nl or her constituent parts may be duplicated, edited and/or published through copy/paste, digital storage and/or other media without explicit written permission by the Admin..
RSS Feed:
- Polenforum.nl beschikt over een RSS feed, deze kan men voor privé gebruik gebruiken.
- Het is niet toegestaan de RSS feed te gebruiken op commerciële- of privé sites zonder uitdrukkelijke schriftelijk toestemming van de Webmaster van Polenforum.nl.
Aansprakelijkheid:
- Dit forum wordt onderhouden door Admins en Moderators die elk op hun eigen gebied bezig zijn.
- Topics worden alleen maar verwijderd wanneer ze niet voldoen aan de forumregels en ze de gezelligheid en/of kwaliteit van het forum ondermijnen.
- Ondanks dat er altijd iemand aanwezig is, is het bijna ondoenlijk de inhoud van alle berichten constant te checken, de leden zijn daar dus zelf aansprakelijk voor.
- Polenforum.nl draagt daarom geen aansprakelijkheid voor de juistheid en/of wettelijke toelaatbaarheid van een bericht, ook hier is het lid verantwoordelijk. Polenforum.nl aanvaard in deze geen enkele verantwoordelijkheid.
Reklame:
- Strikt verboden, in welke vorm dan ook zonder voorafgaande uitdrukkelijke schriftelijke toestemming van de Admin.
Hieronder vallen ook;
- Het plaatsen van linken naar commercieel getinte sites zonder voorafgaande schriftelijke toestemming.
- Links naar private sites alleen na vooroverleg en met uitdrukkelijke schriftelijke toestemming van de Admin van Polenforum.nl.
